USDA through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) has provided funds to increase the Cash Value Voucher/Benefits for Fruits and Vegetable purchases for women and children. Children will receive $25.00 a month and postpartum and pregnant women will receive $44.00 and breastfeeding moms will receive $49.00 a month through September 2023 during the federally declared COVID-19 public health emergency. Please use what you can but if, you can't we understand.
Our diet should consist of plenty of fruits and vegetables daily.
Infant Formula Distribution Dates
We will also issue infant formula on a monthly basis on the dates specified on your yellow ID Card.
Laguna on April 4th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at WIC Office
Tohajiilee on April 5th, at Clinic from 9:00 am to 10:00 am

Remote Certification
We will continue to certify remotely (over the phone) until or unless the Public Health Emergency Declaration for Covid-19 is extended again by USDA, we will continue the remote certification to the date specified. Please continue to wear your masks and social distance to keep the virus away! Please call the office if you have any questions 552-6067 or 552-6068 and 505-366-9531/9532
Change in Phone Numbers or Address
If you have changed your phone number or changed your address, please let the ACL WIC Office know as soon as possible so we can update your changes in our system. Since we are mailing out eWIC Cards, educational information, appointment and re-certification appointments to participants your mail will not get returned by US Postal Service. We are still doing remote certification (over the phone), it is very important to let us know of the changes so, you will receive your eWIC Card on time and other information in the mail. There have been some mail coming back to our office as "Return to Sender Address Not Known" and some phone numbers no longer in service.
In accordance of the New Mexico Public Health emergency Declaration issued in the Pueblo of Acoma and Laguna and the Canoncito Band of Navajos, measures have been implemented within the said boundaries.

The ACL WIC program provides services to the women, infant and children in the communities of Laguna, Acoma, and Canoncito. We also are able to provide WIC services to all ethnic groups in the surrounding communities of San Fidel, Cubero, Seboyeta, Highland Meadows, Albuquerque and Grants, Milan and San Rafael. Everyone is welcome to join our program and benefit from the services we provide.
