The Cash Value Voucher/Benefits for Fruits and Vegetable purchases for women and children will increase on October 2023. Children will receive $26.00 a month and postpartum and pregnant women will receive $47.00 and breastfeeding moms will receive $52.00 a month for October and November 2023, until Congress passes the USDA Funding for FY2024.
Our diet should consist of plenty of fruits and vegetables daily.
Infant Formula Distribution Dates
We will also issue infant formula on a monthly basis on the dates specified on your beige ID Card for Laguna and Canoncito.
Acoma participants will have to come to ACL WIC office to pick up formula, due to no space available in Acoma.
Remote Certification
We will continue to certify remotely (over the phone). Please call the office if you have any questions 552-6067 or 552-6068 and
505-366-9531/9532
Change in Phone Numbers or Address
If you have changed your phone number or changed your address, please let the ACL WIC Office know as soon as possible so we can update your changes in our system. Since we are mailing out eWIC Cards, educational information, appointment and re-certification appointments to participants your mail will not get returned by US Postal Service. We are still doing remote certification (over the phone), it is very important to let us know of the changes so, you will receive your eWIC Card on time and other information in the mail. There have been some mail coming back to our office as "Return to Sender Address Not Known" and some phone numbers no longer in service.
Now that the New Mexico Public Health emergency Declaration issued in the Pueblo of Acoma and Laguna and the Canoncito Band of Navajos has ended, we encourage everyone to please continue to help in preventing any spread of the COVID-19 Virus, Delta Variant and Omicron Variant. Wear you mask, washing your hands for 20 seconds, hand sanitizer and social distance six feet
